Renovation costs vary more than any other project type because they depend on the property's condition, so we price every renovation individually. Here's how:
What affects the cost of a renovation: the property's age and condition, how much of the work is structural versus cosmetic, and the specification of kitchens, bathrooms and finishes. As a rule of thumb on timing: a single room takes 1–2 weeks, a bathroom 2–3 weeks, a kitchen 3–4 weeks, and a full three-bedroom house renovation 8–16 weeks.

Do you handle the design as well as the build?
Yes, for most renovations. We advise on layouts, materials and finishes at the site visit, and we work alongside your architect or interior designer on larger projects.
Can you renovate one room at a time?
Yes. Plenty of our clients spread a full renovation over phases to suit their budget. We plan the sequence so each phase stands on its own.
Do renovations need planning permission?
Internal renovations almost never need planning permission. Structural changes need building regulations approval, which we handle. Listed buildings and conservation areas have extra rules; we deal with those regularly in Farnham and Guildford.
